The Database Search feature includes
some special functions:
• Match Case: You can
check the "Match case" box to refine your search for entries that match the
case of the keyword.
• Search String Memory: The
Search Window will display the most recently entered keyword and search results
even if you leave the search area and come back to it later.
• Background Search: The
program will continue to search in the background even if you click on a
listing while the search is still running. You can then go back to the Search
Window after viewing the chosen listing to see the rest of the search results.
• Saved Searches: Your
most recent search will be saved for as long as you stay in the current
Database. The search results will be cleared only when you switch between
Databases or leave the DataViewer program. The search string (the keyword you
entered) will still be saved, though.
