Palm OS® Storage Devices
1.  DataViewer may be run off of Palm's™ MMC expansion cards and SD cards, Handspring's™ Springboard modules and compact flash cards, and Sony's memory sticks.

2.  Databases work normally even if loaded on a storage card. The DataViewer software can read Databases in any of the following configurations:
•  DataViewer on handheld RAM, Database on handheld RAM
•  DataViewer on handheld RAM, Database on storage device
•  DataViewer on storage device, Database on storage device
•  DataViewer on storage device, Database on handheld RAM

3.  Some storage devices use directories for file placement. In order for DataViewer to read Databases from these particular storage cards, the Databases should be placed in either the \Palm\Launcher\ directory, the \Programs\TownCompass\ directory, or the \Palm\Programs\TownCompass\ directory.

4.  Even when loaded on a storage card, DataViewer still requires some handheld RAM to run properly:
•  Without Databases loaded on storage device, at least 4K of available handheld RAM is required
•  With Databases loaded on storage device, at least 200K of available handheld RAM is required
